Aims and Objectives:
Our aims and objectives are to support British-Syrian healthcare professionals with their training and progression as well as Syrian healthcare professionals in Syria or in the diaspora. In particular, our focus is to:
- Support Syrian healthcare professionals with training, academic progression, educational opportunities and networking in the UK and abroad.
- Provide worldwide representation of Syrian healthcare professionals working in the UK.
- Promote local and international collaborations/ networks with Syrian and non-Syrian academic and professional organisations which promote and further the understanding of Syrian healthcare and Syrian culture.
- Advocate for issues pertinent to the health of Syrians globally including Syrian refugees.
- Contribute to the development of the health system in Syria and other health systems in need.
