About Us
SBMS
The Syrian British Medical Society (SBMS) was founded on the 7th July 2007 by a group of British medical professionals of Syrian heritage. SBMS is a non-profit, non-political organization embracing all health care professionals of Syrian heritage, residing in the UK with their training and progression as well as to support Syrian healthcare professions in Syria and in the diaspora. Membership Benefits
By joining the SBMS, you will be part of this dynamic and visionary organisation, which aims to be the forum for all Syrian healthcare professionals working in the UK, speaking on their behalf, and representing their interests.
The SBMS is launching a number of initiatives which will be driven by its Members, for the benefit of its Members.
Mentoring Programmes for Junior Doctors, Dentist, and Pharmacists, who have recently arrived in the UK, to provide them with the necessary support and guidance.
The Mentoring Programmes will also support Trainees in their progress up the career ladder, and will provide them with expert advice to ensure that they have the prerequisite knowledge and expertise tht they need to succeed.
